Dyson 967040-01 Brush Bar Assembly – 1 Short & 1 Long Tab

Dyson 967040-01 Brush Bar Assembly is designed for select Dyson upright cleaner heads that use the newer one-short-tab and one-long-tab configuration. The two-piece assembly includes one long brush bar and one short brush bar, with blue roller surfaces, red bristles, and black end components. When installed in the cleaner head, the brush bars rotate against the floor surface to help agitate carpet fibers and guide dirt and debris into the vacuum airflow path.

This brush bar assembly is also commonly called a brushroll or brush roll. It is used with select Dyson UP30, UP20, UP19, UP14, UP15, UP16, and UP13 upright cleaner heads that have one short black tab and one long black tab. The tabs are the black plastic end pieces located at the outside ends of the brushbar assembly. They fit into the cleaner-head mounting points and help secure the bars in position. The blue roller length alone is not enough to confirm fitment - the black tab configuration must also match your existing brushbar.

Compare both black end tabs on your current brushbar with the product images. This assembly fits brushbars with one short black tab and one long black tab.
